Welcome to our 7-day tour of Leh, Pangong Lake, and Nubra. We aim to provide you with a memorable experience that will last a lifetime. Our tour is designed to take you through the most beautiful and historic places in the region. Our itinerary is as follows:
Upon your arrival at Leh airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Take the day to rest and acclimatize to the high altitude. In the evening, visit the Leh Market, go shopping, and see the stunning Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will proceed for the Indus Valley Monastery tour. The tour includes visits to Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh, Thiksey, an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village, and Stok Palace, the present residence of the Royal Family. Enjoy the breathtaking views at Sindhu Ghat. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Today, after an early breakfast, we will drive you to the Nubra Valley. Enroute, we will visit the Khardung-la Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 18,380ft. The Nubra Valley is known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the north of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. Upon arrival in Hunder, check in at the Hotel/Camps. Later, visit the Diskit Village and enjoy a camel ride on sand dunes. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel/Camp.
After breakfast, we will travel to Turtuk. Located on the India-Pakistan border, it is a small village on the banks of the Shyok River with unparalleled natural beauty. The place is culturally, linguistically, and historically different from what has been seen till now in Ladakh as it falls under the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Even the landscape is different with dramatic narrow valleys and steep mountains, unlike Central Ladakh and Nubra. Situated at a lower altitude than Leh, you’ll see green pastures here that yield fresh produce like apricots and apples. Upon reaching, explore the valley. By evening return back to Diskit. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After your breakfast at the camp, we drive to Pangong via Shayok. This is a new route recently opened. The Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m), is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point and over 130km in length. It is bisected by the international border between India and China. Enjoy the stunning scenery in the backdrop of the lake. You'll feel so close to nature and environment that the scenery is unforgettable. In the evening, relax and overnight stay at the camp near the lake.
In the morning, explore the beauty of the lake at your leisure. Later, we will drive back to Leh. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the domestic airport for your departure.
