Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi

  • Arrival at Hanoi airport.
  • Pickup and transfer to the hotel.
  • Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Literature Temple, and Quoc Tu Giam.
  • Explore Vietnam’s first university and its well-preserved architecture.
  • Stroll past Hoan Kiem Lake and through Hanoi's old quarter.
  • Night at a hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu Tam Coc – Ninh Binh (B, L)

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart from Hanoi and travel 2 hours on National Road No 1.
  • Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and the temples of King Dinh and King Le.
  • Arrive at Tam Coc wharf for a Sampan boat trip through caves (90 minutes).
  • Return to Tam Coc wharf for a short break.
  • Night at a hotel in Ninh Binh.

Day 3: Ninh Binh – Mai Chau Hideaway (B, L, D)

  • Depart from Ninh Binh, 3 hours by car through National Road 21 & No 6.
  • Visit the bamboo forest and Suối Lốn village.
  • Enjoy the landscape along Da River.
  • Arrive at Mai Chau Hideaway resort, check-in, and admire the panoramic view of Black River.
  • Afternoon boat trip on Da River to Ngoi Hoa Bay.
  • Short trekking to villages, houses on stilts, and Fairy Pond.
  • Evening: Dinner and overnight at Mai Chau hideaway.

Day 4: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)

  • Morning: Breakfast at a restaurant.
  • Transfer to Go Lao Waterfall, 4km from the resort.
  • Return to the resort for leisure.
  • Afternoon: Check out, return to Hanoi.
  • Night in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D) - Night on Cruise in Halong Bay

  • 09:00: Pick up from hotel, drive to Halong City.
  • 12:30: Check-in at Tuan Chau International Harbour.
  • 13:00: Cruise through Halong Bay, enjoy lunch.
  • 14:30: Stop at Bo Nau Cave and Surprise Cave.
  • 15:45: Transfer to Titov island for activities.
  • 16:45: Relax on the cruise, enjoy sunset on the sun deck.
  • 18:00 - 19:00: Happy Hour, cooking class.
  • 19:00: Dinner with Vietnamese fusion cuisine.
  • 20:30: Evening activities include film entertainment and squid fishing.

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi - Departure (Brunch)

  • 06:00: Morning wake-up call (upon request).
  • 06:30: Tai Chi on the sundeck, cruising to Luon Cave.
  • 07:00: Light breakfast in the restaurant.
  • 08:00: Visit Luon Cave by bamboo boat.
  • 08:30: Freshen up, check out of cabins.
  • 09:15: Brunch in the dining room.
  • 10:45: Transfer back to Tuan Chau Harbour, disembarkation.
  • Transfer back to Hanoi and then to the airport for departure in the evening.
