Itinerary

Upon arrival at Leh airport, we will greet you with a warm welcome and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to rest and acclimatize to the altitude. In the evening, we will take you to the vibrant Leh market, where you can shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs, and then to the serene Shanti Stupa for stunning panoramic views of the city. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

After a hearty breakfast, we will set off on an excursion to the Indus Valley Monasteries. We will visit Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh, Thiksey, a magnificent complex perched on a hill overlooking the village, and Stok Palace, the present residence of the Royal Family. We will also visit Sindhu Ghat for a serene view of the Indus River. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day 3 : Leh to Nubra Valley (125 km, 5-hour drive)

After an early breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Nubra Valley, crossing the Khardung-La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world, at 18,380 ft. Nubra Valley is a picturesque region located to the north of Ladakh, nestled between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas. We will visit the Diskit Monastery and the sand dunes, where you can opt for a camel safari. Check-in at the resort and spend your evening at the campsite.

Day 4 : Nubra Valley to Pangong via Shayok (New Route)

After breakfast at the camp, we will drive to Pangong via Shayok, a new route recently opened up. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m), is a long narrow basin of inland drainage, bisected by the international border between India and China. The stunning landscape surrounding the lake is a sight to behold. Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy an overnight stay at the camp near the lake.
