This tour is a 7-night/8-day journey to explore the beautiful landscapes and culture of Kashmir, India. Starting from the city of Srinagar, you will enjoy a Shikara ride in the famous Dal Lake, visit the handicraft market, and take a scenic drive through the heart of New Srinagar city.
The tour will then take you to Sonamarg, where you can take a 3-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajiwas glacier, and visit the small town market. Next, you will proceed towards Gulmarg, a town known for its beautiful meadows, popular skiing destination, and stunning views of the Pirpanjal range in the western Himalayas. Here, you will board the Gondola cable car system and indulge in some horse riding.
The tour will then take you to Pahalgam, known as the ‘Valley of Shepherds,’ where you can enjoy a leisurely day surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests. You can embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi, Betaab Valley, and Aru Valley, followed by an evening of leisure.
On the last day, you will visit the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat, Shalimar, and Chashmashahi, explore the gardens, and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before departing for the airport. This tour offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and cultural exploration, promising an unforgettable experience.
Upon arrival at Srinagar International Airport, you will be driven through the heart of New Srinagar city, passing the Abdullah Bridge that connects the banks of the Jhelum River. Check into a houseboat and take a Shikara ride in the famous Dal Lake. In the evening, go shopping in the handicraft market. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on the houseboat.
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, crossing the towns of Kangan, Mammar, and Gagangir. Upon reaching Sonamarg, take a three-hour walk or horseback trip to the Thajiwas Glacier. After returning, visit the small town market before driving back to Srinagar and transferring to a hotel.
After breakfast, proceed towards Gulmarg, stopping en route at the beautiful Tangmarg town. Drive ahead on a scenic route for 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive in Gulmarg early in the afternoon, take a short tour, and board the Gondola cable car system for an eight-minute ropeway ride. Descend back to Gulmarg after an hour and indulge in some horse riding. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Gulmarg.
Explore Gulmarg, a town, hill station, and popular skiing destination. Gulmarg is located in the Pirpanjal range in the western Himalayas. Enjoy a day at leisure.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, which is famous as the bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second-largest city of Anantnag. From here, the road turns scenic as we drive parallel to the Lidder River flowing from the opposite direction. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, check-in at a hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Embark on an excursion to Chandanwadi, Betaab Valley, and Aru Valley (at your own cost), surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests. This valley is the mouth of the River Sheshnag. Enjoy the evening at leisure and have dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Srinagar (95 km, 3:30 hours). Check into a hotel and visit the famous Mughal gardens of Nishat, Shalimar, and Chashmashahi, Parimahal. Explore the gardens before driving back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
